This imposing bridge provides a peaceful and safe crossing of the River Lune for cyclists and pedestrians. It is the centerpiece of the Lune Millennium Park, which is an environmental project to improve and enhance the riverside from the village of Caton to the centre of the City of Lancaster.The revolutionary design of the bridge includes a curved deck which joins the old viaduct. A gangway provides access from St George's Quay and the two, towering masts are an imposing addition to Lancaster's skyline..
